    Is there a way to remove all previous settings to reinstall? Uninstalling and reinstalling led to the old settings being there.

        Hi coretraveltech,

        Yes, there is a particular file that contains the Message Source and Automations but this is not removed during a reinstall. The file in question is known as MetaData.db and is found within C:\ProgramData\Parker Software\ThinkAutomation.NET. If you wish to drop your current configuration then you can simply stop all of the Windows Services and rename that file. On the next launch of the Windows Services it will create a blank version of the MetaData.db file and your ThinkAutomation will be missing its Message Sources and Automations.

            The problem has to do with Message Store Migration, where the creation of database on a Remote SQL server failed. After that, when ThinkAutomation starts, connection always fails with the error "Connection failed: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:9110". Even after renaming the MetaData.db file, uninstalling and reinstalling it, it still doesn't attempt to recreate message store.

                That is likely because the Registry path of Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ParkerSoft\ThinkAutomation\5\Settings has values within it for all the database types and it cannot communicate correctly.

                Can you provide a little more context to what it is you were doing? Do you require the Message Store to be preserved for the move to SQL Server? We can then offer further advice as to how to resolve this.
