Company Constants

Hi,

I have been using V4 for a number of years and have recently downloaded V5 and have been testing. I feel we are missing "Company Constants" in v5. I understand solution constants exist but what if I have many solutions that use similar constants like database strings etc. (once in a while we need to update these across the board) It seems now that I would have to update these in many places across each solution?
